As it’s Christmas, here is a delicious cocktail recipe to get you in the festive spirit! A favourite drink of my sister and my friends, this drink will have everyone wanting another!

Recipe (makes 1)

1 shot extra strong espresso coffee

1 shot of good quality vodka

1 shot coffee liqueur

1/3 shot cointreau – optional

Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake well with 1 cube of ice until the ice melts away and it’s all frothy.

Add more ice and shake again tuntil extra cold.

Sieve into a martini glass, leaving the ice behind.

Serve straight away and top with a coffee bean or some ground coffee.
