aka festive flapjack!
A beautiful mix of golden buttery flapjack, nutty pumpkin seeds, chewy sour cranberries, creamy white chocolate and bitter dark chocolate makes the PERFECT treat!
Believe it or not (despite what my blog might show 🙈), I have been trying really hard to eat well, cut down on the ol’ booze and have been exercising every day. But now Christmas is only 2 weeks away, this tasty treat officially marks the start of the festive period for me!!! 🥂⭐🍾
Ingredients
225g butter
225g soft brown sugar
3 tbsp golden syrup
200g white chocolate
400g oats
1 tsp cinnamon
150g cranberries + extra for decoration
50g pumpkin seeds + extra for decoration
100g dark chocolate
How to…
Heat your oven to 160c. Melt the butter with the soft brown sugar and golden syrup. Chop 100g of the white chocolate into chunks and mix with the oats, cinnamon, cranberries and pumpkin seeds, then mix in the butter/syrup mixture. Tip into a greased and lined baking tray and bake for 25 minutes until golden. Let it cool completely. Next, separately melt the rest of the white chocolate and the dark chocolate and drizzle over the flapjack. Top with more dried cranberries and some more pumpkin seeds. Cut up and enjoy!
